Laney has worked with animals all her life. She grew up riding and training horses on a farm. She is a Certified Veterinary Nurse who spent 15 years working in speciality veterinary medicine. She has managed surgical teams and trained many new technicians.

Nancy Scioli is a natural born animal lover. She has fostered and cared for many dogs over the years. A natural caregiver to all animals, she has been with Tide Pool since the summer of 2024.

Reaney McGilvary

Reaney grew up with two kitties he adored. Fuzzball and Scuppers, Reaney is an expert in kitty body language.

Rachel Corbin-Lamb

Scheduling Coordinator, skilled dog walker, kitty care expert, and animal nanny.

Rachel came to us for pet-sitting work, but once we found out all of her hidden talents, we moved her into the role of scheduling coordinator. Rachel has her degree in biology and has spent time training animals in a zoo setting. Her most memorable were snow leopards, yes, SNOW Leopards!

Cam Hallback

Tide Pool Pet Sitter, Marketing Director at Big 4 Consulting Firm, and wannabe HGTV pro renovator of old Essex farmhouses (or at least her own).

Cam has cared for animals her whole life, from dogs and cats to horses and guinea pigs. As a proud dog mom to Sierra, a special needs pup, she has extensive experience in administering medicine and providing loving care. Cam uses her expertise to ensure your pets feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away.

Danielles passion for animals is apparent as soon as you meet her. She had two diabetic Italian Grey hounds and has spent time learning about training for her own dog River.

Sydney is currently training to be a vet technician and comes to us with extensive experience with animals, from cats to reptiles! She is passionate about animal care and is excited to spread her love to your furry family members! 

Cady Whitley

Tide Pool Driver, Day Camp Caretaker, and Veterinary Technician 

Cady is a trained veterinary nurse with a background in emergency medicine as well as experience as a dog handler and groomer. 

She grew up surrounded by a menagerie of pets—from dogs and cats to bearded dragons, rats, and even a hedgehog named Rocket. Most recently, she fostered a silly shepherd. This foster experience has led her to gain more confidence in training reactive dogs.

As the Tide Pool driver, Cady loves chauffeuring your pups to and from camp, but her favorite part of the job is leading the beautiful pack walks!

Ashlyn Schultz

Originally from Boulder, Colorado, Ashlyn grew up alongside Bernese Mountain Dogs and has experience caring for animals of all kinds. She takes the time to understand each pet’s unique personality and is dedicated to providing a safe, comfortable experience. Known for her reliability and gentle approach, Ashlyn treats every pet with the same love and attention they receive at home.

Rachel Allen

Day Camp Caretaker

Rachel has grown up surrounded by animals—dogs, cats, guinea pigs, turtles, and even mice. Although she works full-time as a chemical technician, she has always found herself drawn back to caring for animals. During COVID, she rescued her senior dog, and she has fostered several dogs on their journey to their forever homes. She also volunteers with local rescues and now dedicates her time to caring for your pups, continually learning new skills and training techniques to help every dog thrive!

Gabriella Pope

Overnight Caretaker and Private Trainer

Gabby is a dedicated positive-reinforcement trainer with 8 years of hands-on experience, specializing in reactive dogs outside of rescue work and a lifelong dog owner (amongst other critters like cats and ferrets). Rooted in trust, clear communication, and consistency, her goal is to help families build calmer, more joyful relationships with their dogs. Her background in biochemistry, work with autistic youth, and life with a behaviorally complex dog shaped her passion for canine behavioral science and compassionate care.
